What is tallow skincare?
Tallow is a traditional skincare ingredient made from rendered beef fat. Our tallow is slowly rendered in small batches and blended with carefully selected oils and botanicals.

What kind of tallow do you use?
We use suet-only tallow from cattle raised on our South Dakota ranch.  All of our tallow is USDA inspected. 

How much should I use?
A little goes a long way. Start with a small amount and add more as needed.

How should I store my tallow?
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.

What is the shelf life?
For best quality, use within about one year.

Can the texture change?
Yes. Because tallow is a natural product, heat and cold can cause changes in texture. This does not necessarily mean the product is spoiled.
